BURR OAK
The Historic Village of Burr Oak is the ‘Small Town with a Big Heart’. Off the beaten path, you will find places to eat and shop. Strolling down the tree lined streets and the occasional sound of Amish buggies will bring you to a different time when people knew their neighbors and everyone says hello as they pass. Take a walk along the paved Prairie River walk or grill up a burger and picnic along the river. Come and enjoy the Annual Heritage Festival taking place on the last weekend in July. It’s fun for the
whole family!
CENTREVILLE
Centreville was established in 1831 and is the county seat of St. Joseph County. Today, the stately Victorian style courthouse still graces the center square of the town, surrounded by small shops, businesses and private homes. Visitors will want to see the Langley Covered Bridge just north of town and don’t forget to visit the St. Joseph County Fairgrounds to enjoy the 5th largest fair in Michigan. The fairgrounds are also host to an annual home show in April and the 2nd Sunday Antique and Collectible show from May thru October.

COLON
The Magic Capital of the World! Colon’s role in the world of magic began in 1925 when Harry Blackstone, the great magician and illusionist, lived in this small town. Colon is home to Abbott’s Magic Company and the Fab Magic Company the world’s largest producer of magic paraphernalia. Colon is also home to the Annual Magic Get-Together which draws magicians from all over the world. This four-day event is a must see for the entire family. Colon is the site of beautiful Palmer Lake, which
features swimming, boating and fishing.

CONSTANTINE
Settled in 1828, on the beautiful banks of the St. Joseph River, Constantine takes pride in its well preserved historic homes and unique shops that are located in the historic village.
Constantine is proud to be the Seed Corn Capital of the World and is also the home of MMPA (Michigan Milk Producers Association), the largest dairy cooperative in Michigan.
Constantine’s three major parks are the site of summer celebrations which a few include the U.S. Title Boat Races, 4th of July Fireworks and the Fall Harvest Festival. Other festivals include the annual Car Show, “Pets in the Park”, BBQ Cook-off and Christmas in Constantine.

MENDON
Mendon was pre-settled by the Nottawa-sepi Indian Tribe. The property was later purchased by the government and three tribes were displaced – although some returned and are present in the area. Mendon was also the half-way point between Detroit and Chicago for the stagecoach and later the railroad lines. Although the town burned down in 1916, it was rebuilt to reflect the early 1900’s architecture. Mendon is
home to the annual Mendon Riverfest in August.

STURGIS
Sturgis offers a unique shopping experience with quaint shops and one-of-a-kind merchandise. Sturgis is proud of it’s rich heritage, outstanding schools, beautiful parks and recreational opportunities. Special events are held throughout the year, including Sturgis Dam Days at the end of June and the Annual Motorcycle Toy Run in September. Sturgis is a community with pride in it’s past and faith in its future.

THREE RIVERS
Three Rivers is a symbol of the lively, appealing rivers, which gather at its heart. This town has a new, state-of-the-art high school, a myriad of parks, a petting zoo and a historic downtown that is recognized on the National Register of Historic Places. It is an ever-changing, progressive, peaceful community which boasts the annual Three Rivers Water Festival in June and the annual Harmony Fest held on the Sunday of Labor Day Weekend.

WHITE PIGEON
White Pigeon was incorporated in 1837 and is the oldest incorporated village in Michigan. The town was named after the Indian Chief Wahbememe (White Pigeon) who lived there in the early 1800’s. Today, White Pigeon remains a small, agricultural town, with several unique shops and home to the U. S. Land Office and the annual White Pigeon Days.
